Oracle9i Database
Consists of the following installation types:
Provides data management for high-end applications such as high volume on-line transaction processing (OLTP) environments, query-intensive data warehouse and demanding Internet applications. Delivers tools and functionality to meet the availability and scalability requirements of mission-critical applications.
Standard Edition
Targeted for workgroup or department-level applications. Includes an integrated set of management tools, full distribution, replication, web features and facilities for building business-critical applications.
Custom
Enables you to selectively install components from the above installation types. Note that some additional components are only available for installation through the Custom installation type.
Consists of the following installation types:
Installs the Oracle Enterprise Manager Console (including enterprise management tools), networking services, utilities, and basic client software.
Runtime
Provides networking services and support files for database application users to connect to and interact with an Oracle9i database.
Custom
Enables you to selectively install components from the above installation types. Note that some additional components are only available for installation through the Custom installation type.
Consists of the following installation types:
Installs Oracle Management Server, Oracle Enterprise Manager Console (including enterprise management tools), networking services, utilities, and basic client software.
Oracle Internet Directory
Installs components that enable the Oracle Internet Directory directory server to be implemented as an application on the Oracle9i database.
Oracle Integration Server
Installs a database configured with advanced queuing and Oracle JVM along with Oracle Workflow.
Custom
Enables you to selectively install components from the above installation types. Note that some additional components are only available for installation through the Custom installation type.
